Help & FAQ

The questions Pacexis runners ask most. If your question is not here, email [email protected].

How do my runs get into Pacexis?

Through the Pacexis phone app. Install it on your iPhone or Android phone and sign in with the same account. When it asks, allow it to read your workouts: Apple Health on iPhone, Health Connect on Android.

From then on, any run your watch or running app saves to Apple Health or Health Connect syncs to Pacexis, on the phone and on the web. There is nothing to connect on the web itself.

How do I cancel Pro?

On iOS: Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. This opens the Apple Subscriptions page, where you can cancel. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.

On web and Android: Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel or update your card.

We never auto-charge silently. Trials end after fourteen days unless you start a paid subscription explicitly.

Where is my data stored?

All run data, planned workouts, and account info live in a PostgreSQL database on Hetzner servers in Falkenstein, Germany (EU).

You can export everything as JSON at any time from Settings → Privacy → Export my data. You can also delete your account and all associated data from the same screen. For 30 days after you delete it, the account can still be restored; after 30 days, the account and its data are permanently deleted.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Free covers the full daily experience: planned workouts, run logging, calendar view, post-run insights, shoe tracking, race briefings.

Pro adds the accumulated intelligence: weekly summaries, monthly reports, year-on-year progress, the full searchable archive of every run you have ever logged. Pro is for runners who want the longer arc, not just the current week.

Pro is €5.99/month or €39.99/year, VAT included. Start a 14-day free trial from the Pro page, no card needed.

My workout did not show up. What now?

Apple Health and Health Connect runs usually arrive within minutes of the run landing in Apple Health or Health Connect on your phone.

If a run is missing: open the Pacexis phone app and check that it still has permission to read your workouts. If your watch app has not written the run to Apple Health or Health Connect yet, give it a few more minutes.

If Apple Health or Health Connect shows the run but Pacexis still does not, contact [email protected] with the run date and the app that recorded it.

Can I switch to miles?

Yes. Settings → Preferences → Distance unit. The change applies everywhere — calendar, history, insights, race briefings — and is per-account, so it follows you across devices.

How do I contact support?

Email [email protected]. We read every message and try to respond within one business day. Include the device you are on (iOS / Android / web) and a short description of what you were doing when the issue happened.

For outages, check status.pacexis.com or /status first — if the API is showing degraded or down, you are not alone and we are already on it.
